The kiwi is a great natural remedy for constipation relief. It is one of the most affordable and easiest remedies. There was a study done in the World Journal of Gastroenterology in 2007 that showed 55% of subjects eating kiwi fruit 2x/day for 4 weeks had increased transit times of food moving through the gut as well as less discomfort associated with constipation. The only down side is that the little fruit is a little high in sugar.
