Most of the time, we treat passing gas as an awkward and/or humorous moment. We usually just laugh it off. But gas in stomach can mean more than just an embarrassing situation. It could be caused by something much more troublesome. Here are some remedies for passing gas or flatulence.

Another remedy for gas in stomach is to check on your diet. Some foods, such as beans, broccoli, peanuts, raw apples, milk and other dairy products, and onions, are known to cause gas build up. If you could eliminate or minimize your intake of these types of food, then you would eliminate or minimize suffering from flatulence.

Many people have gas in stomach because they lack certain necessary digestive acids. Taking 1 to 2 tablets of betaine hydrochloric acid will aid in digesting the excess food that your body cannot process on its own.

This next gas in stomach remedy may seem odd. But drinking carbonated water encourages belching. Once you make that big nice burp, it relieves gas. Although, some may feel even more bloated once they drink too much carbonated water.

Below are some more natural remedies for stomach gas:
• Celery seeds are thought to be great for stomach gas. They provide a quick relief. All you have to do is to chew the celery seeds. Don’t forget to spit them out afterward.
• Activated charcoal is a remedy providing temporary relief. Activated charcoal binds with the gas and other things considered as toxic or foreign from your body. So, take two tablets of activated charcoal before and after meals, but be sure not to take it with other medications, pills, and supplements as it will bind with them too.
• You could also use ginger to rid of gas in stomach. Simply mix one teaspoon of grated ginger with one teaspoon of lime juice and take this immediately after your meal.
• Fennel tea is another natural remedy for gas in stomach. Fennel improves digestion. It also aids in removing trapped gas. Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried fennel to a cup of boiling water. Steep it for 15 minutes then strain.

There are many reasons for gas to build up in stomach. So, be careful with what you eat and how you eat your food.
